Bus Trip to Wooster, OH for Ohio Light Opera!

The Cleveland Hungarian Heritage Society is again sponsoring a bus trip to Wooster, OH.  We will be seeing the Ohio Light Opera‘s matinee performance of The Little King, with music written by Emmerich Kalman, on Sunday, July 27th. This 1912 operetta was inspired by the love affair of famed French singer/actress Gaby Deslys and Portugal’s King Manuel II.  Kalman’s score features his ever-captivating blend of Viennese waltzes as well as the first ever tango in a stage work.  There will be a pre-show discussion on the program at 1 pm. Our bus will leave from the West Side Market parking lot, next to St. Emeric’s Church, at 10:30 am.  Adequate free parking is available.  We will have a light lunch on the bus on our way to Wooster, and after the performance we will have a delicious dinner at the Balaton restaurant before returning to our cars at St. Emeric’s. Cost is $85 per person.  Deadline for reservations is July 11th, but only 50 seats are available on the bus–so first come, first served.

Fill out the reservation form below, or for more information contact Marcia Mestrits at 440-442-3413.
