Saturday, November 8, 2008, “Folk Songs” was the first in a series of Cultural programs sponsored by the Museum funded in part by a grant from the Cuyahoga Arts and Culture (CAC). The program featured the Roots of American Music (artists and educators) and Rev. Éva Tamásy with the Kis Magyar Korus (chorus). The program sought to compare the folk song lyrics of Appalachia and the various regions of Hungary. It was a dynamic afternoon of songs and instrumental music!
