President Janos Szigeti in his remarks after the election recognized the service of Magdalene Meszaros, who headed up the Nominating Committee for all years since the founding of the Cleveland Hungarian Heritage Society in 1985. The President’s remarks was followed by a presentation by Board member Endre Szentkiralyi, who reported on a City of Cleveland project called “Irishtown Bend”.  This project has a Hungarian connection.
