Fr. Csaba Böjte visits the Museum while in Cleveland

Many Hungarian -Americans are familiar with the wonderful work that this humble Franciscan priest from Transylvania has done to better the lives of orphaned and abandoned children. Since stating his first home for children in Déva, Transylvania, Fr. Böjte has worked tirelessly to find a place for every child in need of love and nurturing. His efforts have touched the lives of children in both Transylvania and Hungary. This year Cleveland’s Hungarians were once more honored to welcome him and hear his message of hope and understanding as they relate to the thousands of children his work has touched. While in Cleveland, Fr. Böjte and his group took time in his busy schedule to visit our Museum on November 6th, with members of our Board and Fr. András Mezei, his host here at St. Emeric Church.
