On Memorial Weekend, our president, János Szigeti, hosted Capt. Viktor Erdész from the Hungarian Embassy in Washington, D.C. Capt. Erdész was the guest speaker at the United Hungarian Societies’ 2022 Memorial Day commemoration at Sunset Memorial park. He visited our Museum with Endre Szentkirályi, president of the United Hungarian Societies, and a member of our Museums’s Board. Capt. Erdész serves in the Defense Attaché Office of the Hungarian Embassy in Washington. We were pleased to showcase our collection and share our immigrant history with our visitor.
