November’s Trianon Program will feature contemporary personal stories

The Museum announces Part III of our program series on the Treaty Of Trianon

Join us on Saturday, November 14 at 2 pm.

“Reverberations a century later.”

This presentation will feature personal narratives of four young adults who live in minority status in four countries in the detached regions surrounding Hungary.  They will describe in very personal ways how they experienced the aftermath of the Treaty of Trianon.  They will share with the audience the critical milestones and key features of their environment that enabled them to retain their Hungarian identities.

This panel presentation examines how the current generation of young people, whose families have lived in minority status for generations, perceive the Treaty that has had such an impact on their lives.
