It is always such a great pleasure to welcome a group to our Museum. On April 20th, residents from the Rose Senior Living, in Avon, Ohio visited and toured the Museum. We had a great time together as we explored the treasures in our collection of artifacts and costumes, as well as sharing highlights of Hungarian history and the Hungarian immigrant experience in Northeast Ohio. Some of our visitors had Hungarian ancestors, many did not. But one thing we all had in common was an interest in the history and culture that was on display at the Museum. We even had the chance to welcome a lady who had just recently celebrated her 100th birthday!Happy birthday Irene Yuhasz!! She was three months old when her parents left with her from the county of Sopron! (Thanks to Brigitta Toth, wife of Rev. Peter Toth from Lorain, whose smart phone camera is the source of the photos!)
