What brought so many friends of the Museum together on a Friday night in October? It was great wine, great food, great music and great company! This year we had the privilege of honoring a fine magyar gentleman, Mr. Frank Dobos. Frank was an active member of our Cleveland Hungarian community, and his poignant words addressed to us sitting in the audience focused on a simple but important message: pass on your Hungarian heritage to your children and grandchildren , bring them to Hungarian events. Frank’s words were typical of his commitment to his Hungarian heritage, and that is the reason he was a Guest of Honor at this year’s Vintner Dinner! We know that without the commitment of our younger generation, future generations will loose the knowledge of how truly rich and vibrant our Hungarian culture is! We were able to taste the fruits of Hungarian viticulture as we sipped one excellent wine after another, five total. We are grateful to all of our guests who attended this event, and by doing so, helped fund the many activities that our Museum offers to all our visitors.
